If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, we invite you to join us at our 8-week “Growing through Grief ” support group. Our grief team is led by licensed therapist Jackie Pearson, Rev. Jon Moore, and LPC member Bonnie Changstrom-Simon.
Cost: $40 materials fee.
The community is welcome to attend both.

Laguna Presbyterian Church prayer chain participants pray for the needs of those who make specific prayer requests. These confidential requests may be submitted on the cards found in the sanctuary pews and placed in the Sunday service offering plates, or by phoning the prayer chain coordinator. These requests are then sent on by email to members of our prayer chain. If you are willing to pray for such needs or you have a prayer need, contact 949-494-6802 or email Nancy Wade.
Monthly Prayer Meeting-First Saturday, 8:30 am
Join us on the first Saturday of each month for an open church prayer time, 8:30 – 9:15 a.m. in the “Prayer Room” off of the sanctuary chancel. Enter through the south patio door to the sanctuary. The focus of this time is to give thanks and to offer up concerns for our church and our community. All are welcome!
Sunday Prayer Ministry
After each Sunday worship service, prayer ministers are at the front of the sanctuary to pray for you and your need in a confidential way. Just walk up and ask for prayer.
Our team of 35 ordained deacons seeks to connect you with our church family and to provide support and help in times of need, such as a new birth, aging, illness, or the death of a loved one. Laguna Presbyterian Church’s parish nurses educate and help care for the physical, mental and spiritual needs of our congregation. We are partially enabled through the gracious support of our Deacons and Hoag Hospital. Parish nurses provide free monthly blood pressure checks, ANNUAL FLU SHOTS, RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE, monthly health-related articles, and health-related programs throughout the year. Grief Recovery Ministries
When you have lost a loved one through death, where can you talk about and explore your journey of grief? Our 8 week class offers comfort and hope while equipping you with practical steps for recovery from grief. Led by a licensed therapist and support team, we offer this group class annually each spring. There is a materials fee. Community members as well as members of the church are welcome.
