A Letter from Pastor Steve about our 2026 Imagine the Impact: “Joining God’s Mission of Hope and Love”
While in prison, the Apostle Paul received a gift from the Philippian church through the faithful disciple Epaphroditus. This generous gift provided for Paul’s financial needs while also providing him with much-needed encouragement. This was not the first time a gift from the church had arrived for Paul; it was the third time. A complete surprise! Paul and the Philippians had learned the secret of joyful contentment!
Since 1917, generations of generous givers have demonstrated the secret of their joyful contentment in Christ. For over 108 years, the investments made by friends and members of Laguna Presbyterian Church have brought healing, new life, reconciliation, renewal, connection, hope and so much more to our community. Could you even imagine Laguna Beach without Laguna Presbyterian Church?
My hope-filled prayer is that every friend and every member of Laguna Presbyterian Church will join with generous givers, past and present, and invest in our ongoing ministry and mission: “Welcoming everyone to live into God’s story of hope and love.”
I invite you to make your commitment to generous giving for 2026. Through our joy in Christ, I pray we may be as ambitious in our mission and as generous in our giving in 2026 as the fellowship in Philippi was in Paul’s day.

Members and friends of Laguna Presbyterian Church (LPC) who want to continue to make an impact for the Kingdom of God after their passing are turning to the Laguna Presbyterian Heritage Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation is an endowment funded by bequests and gifts from grateful friends and members of Laguna Presbyterian Church. It supplements the congregation’s annual giving. The Heritage Foundation was founded in 2020 by 90 individuals. Anyone can be a Foundation member through their intention to leave a gift from their estate to LPC.
Through its ministry, Laguna Presbyterian Church has boldly and compassionately reached out to the lonely, hungry, impoverished, and oppressed locally and around the world for more than 100 years. Its spirit-led members have brought healing and hope both inside the church and to the surrounding community, joyfully making new disciples of Jesus Christ. By committing a portion of your estate to the Heritage Foundation, you are acting to continue that legacy for another 100 years – and longer!
The stewardship team of LPC organizes learning and social opportunities for the Laguna Presbyterian Heritage Foundation to add foundation members and secure and expand the tradition of Christ-like service carried out by the church.
An annual fall brunch with a guest speaker is held in honor of the current LPC Heritage Foundation Members at the El Niguel Country Club. Hosted by the Heritage Foundation Board, it’s a time to welcome new members and reflect on the past year’s achievements as well as presenting future goals. This year the Heritage Foundation Brunch will be held Sunday, November 1, 2026, at noon.
Tax-advantaged Charitable Giving

Chancel Flower Dedication
Donating floral bouquets adds to the beauty of our worship service and gives members a chance to remember or celebrate loved ones.
A birthday, anniversary, wedding or baptism offers the perfect opportunity to express your love and concern for others, and to beautify the chancel during Sunday worship. Following the services, chancel flowers are distributed by our Deacons to home-bound and hospital patients.
Each bouquet is $80 and the dedication will run in the Sunday morning bulletin. We accept up to two bouquets per Sunday.
If you would like to request a Flower Dedication, please fill out the form (button below) and we will reach out to you regarding your date request, payment information and final proof/approval of your dedication text for the bulletin.
All donations are recorded as a “Tithe” unless designated otherwise.
What is meant by “Tithe?” Literally, tithe means tenth or 10%. Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything and is an expression of gratitude for all God’s good gifts. We are reminded that we are “blessed to be a blessing.”
